As SRS continues to support Sunraysia as the nation battles through the housing affordability crisis for local communities and young people with a disability – SRS is continually being supported by local businesses. Ben Ridley, Director of Collie & Tierney - First National Mildura and the team have recently donated a chicken feeder to SRS Benetook Farm. The feeder may appear as a luxury for the hens at Benetook farm, but it gives SRS staff back hours each day to continue to focus on building and maintaining the farm.

Mark O’Donnell and the team at Intersport Mildura have also recently donated an exercise bike to SRS UNLIMITED. UNLIMITED is Sunraysia’s only technology-based learning program for people with disability. The donation of the exercise bike to UNLIMITED will make a huge impact to the participants lives during the winter months in Mildura as they are not able to spend time outdoors in the community getting exercise.

SRS CEO Marian Luehman is very grateful of the donations and encourage any businesses that are able to show their support to reach out. “Over the past 46 years SRS have been able to continue to purchase and provide specialist disability housing for the local community and knows that SRS wouldn’t be able to do so without the volunteers, staff, and donations from individuals and businesses in Sunraysia”
