Sunraysia Residential Services Inc. (SRS) will celebrate our Seniors this October, offering numerous events and programs as part of Mildura Rural City Council’s annual Mildura Seniors Festival.
Held throughout October as part of the statewide Victorian Seniors Festival, the annual celebration recognises and celebrates the valuable contributions people over the age of 55 make to our community while promoting positive ageing, social connection and lifelong learning.
SRS events and programs during the festival will offer a chance for our senior community to learn more about our Aged Care services and programs, engage with our staff and form new connections.
Morning tea at SRS Benetook Farm
SRS will kick off the 2026 Mildura Seniors Festival by hosting a Morning Tea at SRS Benetook Farm from 10am to midday on Wednesday 7 October 2026.
Enjoy a $10 coffee and cake deal at the SRS Benetook Farm Café upon arrival, visit the General Store and explore the range of hand-crafted items, and enjoy a special performance by the SRS Rhythmic Squad.
People will also have the chance to explore the farm, visit the animals and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing morning, while also getting the chance to meet members of SRS’ Aged Care Coordination Unit and learn more about SRS’ Aged Care services and programs.

Aged Care Connect Group
Our Aged Care Connect Program meets every Wednesday at 9am, and focuses on building connection in a social setting, with participants leading group activities.
SRS is extending an invitation throughout the Mildura Seniors Festival for those interested to join the group and take part in planned activities each Wednesday throughout October.
Participants will self-fund activities on the day, with transport available if required. Learn what’s happening around town, and experience what Mildura has to offer.

Celebrating 50 years of SRS
SRS will also mark its 50th anniversary in October 2026!
For five decades, SRS has been proud to serve our community as a local, not-for-profit organisation, providing compassionate care and innovative, person-centered support to people in our aged care and disability community.
This incredible milestone would not have been possible without the continued generosity and support of our local community, participants, partners and donors.
SRS will mark the milestone with a special celebration on Thursday 22 October 2026 from 1pm to 6pm at SRS Benetook Farm.
