Sunraysia Residential Services Inc. (SRS) is expanding its in-home support services, introducing specialised nursing care designed to help more people in the community access essential health support while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.
The new nursing services will be delivered by SRS’ Nursing Team and include:
- Wound Care
- Medication Management
- Subcutaneous Injections
The expanded service will be available to NDIS participants, aged care participants, and members of the broader Sunraysia community seeking professional nursing support at home.
The new service reflects SRS’ ongoing commitment to improving health and wellbeing outcomes for local people by providing accessible, person-centered care that supports independence and quality of life.
“At SRS, we understand the importance of receiving the right care at the right time,” SRS Safeguarding Manager Sara Avery said.
“By expanding our in-home services to include specialised nursing support, we can provide greater continuity of care and help people manage their health needs in a familiar and comfortable environment – their own home.
“The service will also provide an alternative for those in the community who may have difficulty getting themselves to and from appointments for follow up care following surgeries, minor injuries, or who require regular medication.”
The addition of these services strengthens SRS’s ability to support individuals with varying health and care requirements, while reducing barriers to accessing essential nursing care.
Community members, families, support coordinators, healthcare professionals and referral partners are encouraged to contact SRS on 03 5022 1741 or email [email protected] to learn more about the new service.
