Footy’s biggest day is almost here, and Sunraysia Residential Services Inc. (SRS) is inviting NDIS participants to come together for an exciting AFL Grand Final Day Watch Party on Saturday 26 September 2026.
Whether you’re a passionate supporter or just love being part of the action, this event promises a fun, friendly and inclusive atmosphere to enjoy every mark, tackle and goal as the season’s top two teams battle it out for premiership glory.
The watch party will run from 11am to 6pm at SRS Unlimited (392 Deakin Avenue, Mildura), offering a safe and inclusive place to kick back and enjoy the game, while enjoying the company of a fun crowd.
For just $10 per person, attendees will enjoy a day of footy fun, with food included.
SRS Services Manager Bethany Simpson said the AFL Grand Final provided the perfect opportunity for NDIS participants to come together in a safe environment to enjoy arguably one of Australia’s biggest sporting events of the year.
“Our social programs have been going from strength to strength this year, offering participants the chance to engage and participate in an inclusive environment,” she said.
“At SRS, we love creating opportunities for people to come together and share experiences. The AFL Grand Final Watch Party is all about inclusion, friendship and enjoying footy’s biggest day in a supportive and welcoming environment.”
Ms Simpson said the day would also provide a chance for participants to enjoy the colour and pageantry that comes with an AFL Grand Final.
“Footy colours, banners, great laughs – our AFL Grand Final Watch Party is set to be a fantastic day of sport and connection,” she said.
All NDIS participants are welcome, with registrations essential.
